Mission Statement
“We are people that have recovered from the degradation and despair of addiction. We provide a safe, affordable and very structured program to any man that is struggling with drugs and/or alcohol so that they too can recover. Our goal is to help our clients to become contributors in recovery by putting them into action the day they enter our program.
Overview
The Into Action Recovery Program is a 90 day residential supportive recovery and transitional program for men challenged by drug and/or alcohol addiction. We are a centre that will help any man whose primary problem is addiction and that is willing to help himself get and stay off drugs and/or alcohol.
Located in the city of Cranbrook, British Columbia, our contributors live as a part of a supportive residential community where they participate in group therapy and an integrated recovery program. Also we don’t give the title of “client” to the men after they enter the program, as they become “contributors” in recovery and society the day they get here. Our goal is to help clients move from the stand point of being a victim of addiction to a contributing member of their recovery and home community and to discover new, healthy beliefs which are the foundation for recovery.
We have combined the Bio-Phsyco-Social-Spiritual model with traditional 12 step recovery in order to provide the widest range of help for our clients.
The residential program accommodates males aged 19 years or older, who share comfortable bedrooms in a quiet residential setting.
